As it goes...

As the true Word is passed down through generations, it gets diluted and denied more and more.  We are in a constant battle against the forces of evil and must join His army to defeat Satan.  The Bible will always be here to teach those who are willing to learn...but it needs to be shared and passed on with due diligence.  The everlasting fate of humanity suffers with every break in the chain.  May God bless the families that share His Word with their children so the Truth may be passed on to their generation.
.
Acts 3:13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up , and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go . 14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15  And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. 16  And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong , whom ye see and know : yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.  48,62,41,0,W,0

On the contrary, John.

The true word of God does NOT get diluted more and more. In fact, God tells us that he will protect his word for all time. While many deceitful men may try to dilute, distort, and misrepresent the word of God, they only destroy themselves and their followers. This is why it is paramount for each of us to make certain that we are following the true word of God as written in the bible, and not follow the distorted teaching of politicians, selfish men, false prophets, and anyone else masquerading as teachers of the word of God.

Psalm 12 speaks very directly about this topic in very clear terms that require zero interpretation.

1Help, LORD, for the godly man ceases to be,
For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men.

2They speak falsehood to one another;
With flattering lips and with a double heart they speak.

3May the LORD cut off all flattering lips,
The tongue that speaks great things;

4Who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail;
Our lips are our own; who is lord over us?”

5“Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy,
Now I will arise,” says the LORD; “I will set him in the safety for which he longs.”

6The words of the LORD are pure words;
As silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times.

7You, O LORD, will keep them;
You will preserve him from this generation forever.

8The wicked strut about on every side
When vileness is exalted among the sons of men.

True followers of God do not fear the evil doers that "strut about" trying to dilute, distort, or misrepresent the truth. We celebrate that the evil doers' days are numbered because God will deliver us from those that aim to deceive. Those evil men can do us no harm because God has "set" each true believer "in safety for which he longs".

We simply need to keep our faith and pass along God's Word as written in the bible to any that are willing to listen. Let God do the rest. He will touch the hearts of those that are worthy of being saved. In the process of doing God's work, we place ourselves on the path to our own salvation.

I walk 2 roads, White mans road and Native American Indian road for I am a mixed breed.
As Indian we spoke it form Elders to Children and still some areas it is still spoken, my self I do speak it.
As in White mans world I read the Bible, learn, take tools, use these tools but I don't go so over board that your point shoots its self in the foot.
I have also preached in many different churches because of my Mixed Breed.

So I remain, Rosharon,TX. Two Hawks

601 lyampiGeez John a lot of your visitors sure like to come here and tell you that you are wrong! I completely agree with your premise.

Spend any length of time at all in a city and it is undeniable. There is a new generation that thrives on moral relativism alone. A whole belief system based on what is socially acceptable (which is not static obviously). If the Jones are doing that then certainly I can do this no problem, it may be bad, but it is no where near what they are doing so must be acceptable. My recollection is even in introductory college level humanities classes (read: liberal arts, humanities 101) they discuss where societies end up under those arrangements. Yet we find ourselves right there, with liberal politicians egging them on. Three way marriages are not far off, because if gays are allowed to marry than we should not discrminate against bisexuals. If bisexuals marriages become commonplace, well that is discriminatory to the bestiality crowd, so certainly interspecies marriage will be after that. Then the necrophilia crowd will feel like they are getting a raw deal....you see where I am going here?

Lying is ok if it is just a little lie, or if I lie less than the other guy we see on tv. I only stole a little bit. Moral relativism is closely intertwined with your premise.

This is an easy sell to folks not raised with any concrete value system such as the christian religion. If it feels good do it. So we wind up with a country full of people into all sorts of things with an inability to save money. With a complete inablity to resist temptation, whats more they have been taught there is no reason to resist. And then you have a big downturn in the economy and bam, you have a nation full of people who depend on the government for everything.
