which way?

Deuteronomy 11:26-28

26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:
28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

And woe be unto those who do not follow this. Beautiful
Picture. Something about the straight and narrow. My salutatorian speech was something about the road of life and choices. Well this is progress and not perfection since we are only human.

The "LORD your God" seems too vindictive and mean-spirited for me. I'll stick with the "other gods", thanks. And I won't even try to convert people!

Thank you John - for that very clear message from the Lord. And all should remember that a "mean spirited" God would not have let only son be crucified by the Romans, to save us from the Hell we deserve.

Cheers Ron Mahan

To John:: This comment is not about the subject on this post, however I have been reviewing some of your older photos an noticed something that I had not caught first time I saw the pictures. During the second 8week period of your establishing TFL. Pictures show PVC pipe going from manifolds on the back side of your tiny house and extending under the house out to the front in each section of your front porch. What are those for? Hope you can talk about them in one of your posts or send me a note at eugene59@yahoo.com . Tnx Gene Adcock (curious Gene)

The scripture that you posted was for the Israelites. It was during the Mosaic Covenant. The Law. We are not under the Law. We are under the age of GRACE."It is a Gift from God not of works lest any man should boast". Pastors should stick to the epistles of Paul. Teaching out of the old testiment except for teaching us how we got where we are today, mixes things up snd makes people like the man above have ignorant ideas. Remember this one factor. Jesus hadnt completed his work on the cross yet.
